minibus driver (part time)
Hill House seeks an enthusiastic, D1 qualified driver to join the school’s team of 9 drivers from March 2022.
This position is working afternoons only from 3.30 pm to 6.00pm and would be suitable for a retired or semi-retired person.
Hill House is the leading co-educational, independent school in the area, situation on the borders of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. It is an exciting and expanding school of some 700 children from age 3 to 18, where teachers can teach and children can learn. The school was founded in 1912 and occupies a splendid site between Bawtry and Doncaster.
The school has a stunning site, harmonising the history of an outstanding campus with new, purposely designed 21st century facilities. A recent multi-million pound development project has seen the building of a new Sixth Form Centre, Music School, Sports Grounds and Dining Hall.
Academic results are the best in the area, with 75% of GCSEs being awarded grades 9 to 7 this year, and 66% of A levels being graded at A*/A. They compete very favourably with other independent schools; expectations are rightly high, and we are ambitious for our children.
The school is in a thriving and historic area with excellent communication links, around 90 minutes by train from London. The culture, facilities and shops of York, Leeds, Harrogate, Nottingham and Sheffield are all within easy reach, as is the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and the Peak District. The school is surrounded by many beautiful villages in the countryside, and property prices are very reasonable indeed.
This role is part time working 12.5 hours per week in an afternoon. It gives the successful candidate the chance to join a thriving department. The successful candidate should be an excellent driver.
You will transport our children home from school, driving one of our 9 routes across Doncaster and its surrounding villages.
Hill House provides a Company Pension Scheme and Westfield Health cover.
