Hill House Junior School pupils had a very successful afternoon at the S.Anselms Invitational Cross Country event.
Out of the four junior school races Hill House pupils won three of them - congratulations to Greta Highfield (Y4); Daniel Reeve (Y4) and Jessica Rowland (Y6) for their outstanding performances.
Lysander Lawson (Y5) and Ben Drohan (Y6) ran a terrific race to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively, with Olivia Lennard (Y6) just finishing behind teammate Jessica to finish 2nd in the Year 5/6 girls race.
In the team competition the Y4 boys, Y4 girls, Y5/6 boys A and Y5/6 girls all finished second. Hill House were second in the overall competition, with hosts S.Anselms in first place.
Mr Lawrie, cross country coordinator, said 'The pupils were incredible in all the races, it was great to see them run for themselves but also come together as a team. It was a very tough course but a great challenge for our runners. Thank you to S.Anselms for their hospitality and for the great support from our parents.'
