The school was delighted to host retired Footballer and ambassador for the Arrhythmia Alliance’s Hearts and Goals campaign, Fabrice Muamba, this week for the second instalment in this years Robert Winston Lecture Series.
A great opportunity for our students, Fabrice spoke to our GCSE and A Level pupils prior to the evening talk, providing an incredible insight regarding his pathway into professional football and his work for the PFA after his accident.
The evening event saw over 200 attendees gather to hear Fabrice’s remarkable and moving story. He gave insight into overcoming adversity and the power of resilience with examples from his life. We also enjoyed hearing about his dedication to raising awareness and his work for the Arrhythmia Alliance’s Hearts and Goals campaign. We enjoyed being able to ask Fabrice questions and listening to his answers. A truly inspirational man.
