Lent Soiree

This term’s Lent Soiree was a marvellous evening, with some of the school’s finest musicians performing in a packed Sixth Form Common Room.

The range of music on show delighted the audience, from Sam Honeybone’s dreamy Poulenc Sonata for Piano and Clarinet to Oliver Barker’s tour de force of ‘Come on Eileen’. Head of Practical Music Vicky Bodman said ‘it was wonderful that in an evening of super performances, we also saw some great debuts such as Natalie Bradbury, Kanak Gupta, Rosie Stokes and Dylan Clark’s seminal ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’

Attention now shifts to one of the great highlights of the year, next week’s House Music Competition.
