Religious Studies

The GCSE course provides an opportunity to reflect on and discuss the big questions we face in life and broaden our understanding of the world around us. Through the depth of topical issues, pupils will develop their ability to form and critique different arguments and points of view from a variety of religious and philosophical perspectives. They will develop their knowledge and understanding of Christianity and Islam and non-religious beliefs. Pupils apply their knowledge and understanding in order to analyse questions related to religious beliefs and values.
