Barnardo’s Choir Extravaganza at the Barbican, London

On Monday March 6th the Hill House School Junior Chorus visited London to take part in the Barnardo’s Inaugural Independent Young Supporters Concert.

The choir were very excited to be part of this event and rehearsed most of the day with conductor Carole Lindsay-Douglas.  Adam Shovey compered the evening and the massed choir was nearly 500 strong. Several choirs were from London and one choir had made the trip form the Isle of Man to take part in the concert. A dance troupe from Pineapple Performing Arts Academy added to the occasion with their high energy dance routines.

To stand and sing on the stage the London Symphony Orchestra play on with such terrific acoustics was an experience they will never forget.
